Maintenance

Please report any maintenance issues so we can deal with them swiftly. If anything breaks or doesn't perform as it should for any reason, we need to know. Listed below are current issues we are aware of as well as details of ongoing and planned improvements.

May 2011

We've been made aware of a potential safety issue with the staircase. Please be aware that the second stair tread from the top is narrower than the others. we're working an a solution but in the meantime please take extra care.

May 2011 Poor flow / airlock through hot kitchen tap also affecting power shower.
Ongoing issue - We believe happens when shower and hot kitchen tap run together. Simple fix - hold hand over end of tap and turn hot then cold on together forcing cold back along hot pipe for 1 minute removing airlock. Please let us know if it happens again.we're urgently investigating solutions. Please bear with us but let us know if it happens. Any details of the circumstances will be helpful in identifying and rectifying the cause.

Ongoing - New Laundry / Utility /Drying Room.

Construction of the shell is complete and we've started painting the inside. We've yet to fit a worktop with cupboard beneath and the washing machine and complete the plumbing and electrics. It will also eventually have a nice big window offering a fantastic view!

Sky TV - ongoing issue
The new satellite dish is now fixed on the roof of the wood store but the signal is impaired by overhanging branches which we need permission to trim back, so no signal is available at the moment. However a wide selection of digital channels are available from Freeview via the community TV aerial high up on the hill above the village.
