The Little Cottage is in a quiet village location in the Lugg Valley in the heart of rural Mid-Wales. It is on the Glyndwr's Way footpath and so makes an ideal base for a walking holiday. The town of Knighton is nearby, which marks the mid way point on the Offa's Dyke footpath.
The Radnor Forest is an outstanding area for lovers of nature and wildlife and has inspired generations of artists and authors. Wildlife includes Red Kites, Herons, Otters and Kingfishers. You can see them all in one day if you're lucky! All the attractions and ameneties of Mid Wales are within easy reach.
The nearest towns are Knighton and Presteigne, with Llandrindod Wells within easy reach. Shropshire attractions are nearby including the famous food town of Ludlow, the Shropshire Hills, Craven Arms and Church Stretton.
