We still have good availability from April onwards and we wanted our previous enquirers and guests to have the first choice of dates before the spring and summer season starts in earnest. Mindful of the economic climate we're happy to reserve the dates of your choice for a low deposit of just £50, with the balance paid 6 weeks prior to your stay. If last year is anything to go by we'll be fully booked again over the summer - so book now to secure your chosen dates!
We've been busy behind the scenes making sure The Little Cottage is bright and welcoming for your 2009 break. New curtains upstairs and the kitchen looking resplendent in it's new pale blue and cream Farrow & Ball livery. Mid- March sees us closed to visitors for a few days to allow work on the chimney, plumbing system and installation of the new Morso Squirrel Wood Burning Stove. We'll also have freshly filtered pure welsh water at the kitchen sink from a Watersource Filter and Franke Tri-flo tap system - so no need to bring bottled water!
More news about the Pub!
We've heard the pub in Llangunllo is officially under new ownership with refurbishment scheduled to finish by the summer. We're certain it will be well used by our visitors - subject to it serving some tasty meals and quality beers of course!.
Your feedback has been so important to us so far, so please keep it coming! It's really heartening to read the amazing comments left in the visitors book – it's good to know for the most part we're doing the right things. But even more important are your thoughts about any areas where we didn't quite hit the mark. So any ideas for improvements or additions that would help make your holiday complete we would love to hear them! Answers on a postcard please.....
Lost Property: We've found the owner of the walking boots, but no-one has yet claimed the folding tinted glasses, so if they're yours please let us know..
We'd love you to share with us the things you enjoyed most during your previous stay - that way we can share them with future guests. Perhaps it was an enjoyable walk, or an interesting visit or a sumptuous meal - whatever it was please let us know. We're also planning a visitors photos section on the website, so if you have some you'd like to share please email them to visitorphotos@littlecottagewales.co.uk..
We look forward to welcoming friends old and new to The Little Cottage during 2009 and beyond. Any questions or queries whatsoever, please just let us know.
